To guarantee a treatment as a certainty in advance has never been a well known notion in medicine. When you have appendicitis the surgeon will do his best to remove the appendix as soon as possible, but sometimes there can be a problem and this can result in complications. You can call this an effort agreement between the surgeon and the patient.
Nowadays in plastic surgery and especially in aesthetic surgery the fact that the surgeon promises to do his best has become insufficient.
Since a surgical intervention in plastic surgery has exclusively an aim in a shape enhancement and there is no emergency or an emergency situation present, this improvement – at least partially– must be guaranteed in advance. This is how society thinks presently and this vision has been set out in jurisprudence...
Even though a guarantee remains a cumbersome matter, you can rest assured that I will do everything in my power to deliver a good result. It is important to me that my patient is satisfied. If something goes wrong, we will find a solution for the problem. If an additional intervention is necessary, in the event of non-insured care, it will be free of charge.
